Look up, pick out the player in space and switch the ball. That's the aim of this week's session.
Switching play from wing-to-wing is a key feature to any attacking side, but you need accuracy and the power for a cross-pitch ball to work. To get your players effectively switching the point of attack we combine quick-short passing with long passing - to practice moving the opposition's defender to one side before then switching the point of attack to where the space has been created!
What's in the Session?
We begin with a small groups passing warm up, to get your players passing with accuracy. Now the fun can begin - we've got 3 conditioned games to reinforce the importance of passing to players in space and allow your team to work on this skill in a pressure situation.
